About the Laboratory

Established in 2013.
From 2013 to 2015, the laboratory was headed by  Valery Shilov, Ph.D.
Personnel: 11 researchers including 2 Ph.D.


Research directions

  • Development of new pharmaceutical products based on natural and synthetic raw material
  • Pharmacological testing of pharmaceutical products for analgesic, antiaggregant, antiarrhythmic, antihypoxic, antidiabetic, anticoagulant, vasodilator, hepatoprotector, hypolipodemic, hypotensive, cardiotonic, nefroprotective, antianemic, anti-ischemic, soporific, and spasmolytic activity
  • Execution of preclinical investigations
  • Development of experimental biological models of socially important diseases.

Main achievements and developments

  • Development of original pharmaceutical compositions and laboratory techniques for coated tablet and gelatinous capsule medicines for arterial hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and metabolic disorders treatment
  • Elaboration of an original composition for artery-preservation solution for cardiac surgery
  • Development   of  food   supplements:   "Cardivitol",   «Resvitol»,   «Vasotropil», «Angstim», «Metacorin» which are produced by pharmaceutical enterprise "Academpharm".
